Lauren Crabb has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 2012 where she worked in a variety of outpatient settings. Lauren returned to working in the Equine Assisted Services industry as a PTA in 2018. She is now the Therapy Coordinator at ROCK (Ride on Center for Kids) in Georgetown, Texas. Lauren has a passion for movement, biomechanics and conditioning that continues to grow in the equine setting daily.
“As a PTA, I’m excited to provide evidence-based care. HHRF funds research that investigated how equine-assisted services affect balance, gait, posture, strength, motor control, mental health, and overall function. This scientific evidence helps support therapeutic riding as more than an anecdotal intervention.”
