I wrote to HHRF. When will I hear back? For normal mail and email correspondence, you should hear back from us within one week. Be aware that emailing directly may not reach the intended recipient because of SPAM filters. If you do not receive a response within one week of any correspondence, please call the HHRF office or contact us through the mailing list form.
HHRF will acknowledge receipt of Letters of Intent by postal or email within one week, but may take up to two months to respond with the formal recommendation to apply.
For grant proposals, allow up to three months from date of deadline for expected response time.
Can I volunteer? HHRF volunteers are often needed for various committees, events and other programs. HHRF occasionally has office internship opportunities. Contact us for more information.
For those who are interested in volunteering hands-on work at an equine assisted activities program, find an EAA program near you through the NARHA website.
How can I make a donation? Donations are gladly accepted, by cash, check, credit card or other methods. For more information, see the get involved section.
Can I make a donation in honor or in memory of someone? Absolutely. See the get involved section for more information.
How much money has the Foundation given to research so far? Thus far, HHRF has awarded $50,000 to EAA/T research. More information on awarded grants is available in the Awarded Projects page of the Research section.
How can I apply for a grant? The Research section details procedures related to applying for a grant from the Horses and Humans Research Foundation.
